Indication for use
Running-Care is a certified medical device for its self-management protocols and symptoms checker for running-related injuries.
Running-related injuries taken into account into Running care are localised in the following body parts:
- Trunk (Back, Thorax, Belly, Lower-back)
- Pelvis (Buttocks, Hip, Groin, Pubis)
- Thighs (Hamstrings, Quads, Adductor)
- Knees (anterior surface, internal surface, external surface)
- Legs (Shin, Calf)
- Feet (Achilles tendon, Foot arch, Ankle, Toes)
Use conditions
- Minimum age: To use Running Care, you must be 18 years old
- Compatibility: Running Care works with all Android mobile phones with a version upper than 5. For IOS mobile phones, Running Care works with IOS versions that are upper than 11.0
- Do not use Running Care in case of emergency: in case of alarming symptoms, contact immediately an emergency service.
- Do not use Running Care with an injury or a pathology non-related to running: if your pain is not related to your running activity, Running Care is not designed for you. We recommend you to consult a health care professional.
- Running Care does not substitute for professional medical advice: if you have any doubt about the management of your pain or if your symptoms are not improving, consult a health care professional.

Caution
Running Care has been created for the self-management of non-serious running-related injuries. If your injury is non-related to a running activity, we advise you to consult a health care professional.
Contraindication
Runnin Care must not be used by persons with a physical or mental disability that does not ensure the correct use of the device.
Alarming symptoms
If you have the following symptoms, contact immediately an emergency service:
- severe chest pain, located behind the breastbone, similar to pressure,
radiating to the mandible and the left arm,
- dropping of the face, asymmetry of facial expressions, one-sided weakening
of muscle strength and numbness of the limbs, slurred speech, the most
intense headache ever felt, dizziness and blurred vision,
- increasing breathing difficulties, shortness of breath, difficulty finishing
sentences due to breathing problems,
- heavy bleeding that is difficult to stop, such as a nosebleed, gastrointestinal
bleeding, vaginal bleeding, bleeding due to injury,
- serious injuries resulting from an accident, such as crushing, suspected bone
fracture,
- changes in consciousness, loss of consciousness, seizure
- sudden swelling of the eyes, lips, throat, or tongue
Accessories and medical devices referenced in Running Care
Some equipments may be required to carry out a care program and are listed in each program. In case of use, always refer to the equipment’s instructions for use in addition to Running Care explanations. Clickable internet links give you some examples of the type of equipment which is needed.
We designed our care programs with health professionals, however, if you consider that our explanations linked to the use of an equipment (accessories, sports equipment, medical device) are not enough detailed or differ from instructions for use or that you have doubt about the correct use, contact the Running Care medical team to receive more information before beginning the exercise.

Passwords
Do not disclose to another person your Running Care account personal password. Running Care contains information about your personal health data.
Language
The application is in French and English.
If Running Care is not in a language that you master, or if you have doubt in a word translation, you can change the language of Running Care by changing the default language of your mobile phone. If some doubt remains or if you master neither English nor French, we advise you to stop using Running Care and consult a healthcare professional for your injury care.
Technical problems
If you detect a problem with Running Care, including display or operating issues, please contact our technical support. According to the problem, you will be given instructions regarding the use of the application.

Updates
The Running Care application is updated on a regular basis. We advise you to automatise these updates or to update Running Care on a regular basis to have the latest version. An irregular update can lead to a non-compatibility with the new version of Running Care or the persistency of corrected anomalies that have been corrected in new versions of Running Care
